Seit Monaten demonstrieren Osnabrücker Schülerinnen und Schüler freitags für eine nachhaltige Klimapolitik und fordern die Verantwortlichen zum Handeln auf. Am 26. April organisierte unser Frauen*Forum zusammen mit der JSAG, im Rahmen des Streiks der Fridays for Future auf dem Theaterplatz einen Workshop. Alle Interessierten waren eingeladen Stoffbeutel individuell mit Sprüchen und Motiven für mehr Klimaschutz zu gestalten.
Im Laufe des Vormittags ließen die Demonstranten ihrer Kreativität freien Lauf und bemalten, bedruckten und beschrifteten die Fairtrade Stoffbeutel mit den verschiedensten Motiven, Forderungen und Sprüchen für ein Umdenken in der Klimapolitik. „The Earth is getting hotter than young Leonardo DiCaprio“, „Bruda muss los Umwelt schützen“ und „March now or swim later“ waren nur einige der kreativen und einfallsreichen Ausrufe, mit denen die Schülerinnen und Schüler ihre Beutel verzierten. Aber auch Forderungen nach “mehr” Europa und Feminismus fanden Platz auf den Beuteln.
Am Ende des Tages konnten wir auf eine gelungene Kooperation der Auszubildenden- und Schüler*innen-Gruppe mit dem Frauen*Forum zurückblicken. Wir freuen uns sehr über die große positive Resonanz, auf die der Workshop gestoßen ist und werden weiterhin mit der Fridays for Future Bewegung für mehr Umweltschutz eintreten!
